Blue & White Summer

Even though our favorite color is Green (as you could probably tell, from our storefront and our shopping bags), something about Summertime makes us long for breezy Blue & White.  Here are some blue decor ideas we love, starting with area rugs:

There's nothing like a rug to instantly refresh a room.  Even something small by the kitchen sink or entryway can make a huge difference in brightening up a space.  These cotton rugs by Dash & Albert are from our shop, and are available in many sizes, from 2'x 3' all the way up to room-sized.

Our current favorite candles?  Driftwood & Sea Salt.  The artisan glass vessels remind us of blue/green beach glass we've found by the shore, and they're filled with the ultimate Summer fragrance:

For outdoor dining (something we're all doing more of on these long Summer days), we've found some wonderful salad bowls, also with a blue/green tint.  We like this large shallow bowl with our wooden whale serving set ... we are just a block from the Long Island Sound, after all!

Speaking of the water, if you're taking a picnic by the beach or maybe a local park, you'll want to bring along a great bag that fits everything you need.  We love our Scout tote bags, and our insulated lightweight Scout coolers for keeping lunch & snacks fresh.
