Emilie grew up at the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, and the sea has always been her inspiration. She uses the craft of lost wax casting which dates to ancient Egypt, wherein she carves sculptural pieces into hard wax and casts them into metal. Rough gemstones are incorporated into her work as a celebration of the beauty of natural imperfection.
Each piece is handmade in Emilie's NY studio.
